Post 247 is all about learning – and having a blast doing it. As explorers, we get to go deep into the heart of emergency care. Whether you already totally know that you want to be a paramedic, you think you might possibly be interested in a career in EMS, or perhaps you just are looking for a fun, safe, and educational group to be a part of, Post 247 is for you!

Post 247 continually offers a wide array of new and exciting activities: EMS-related classroom training, the privilege of working shifts with Austin/Travis County paramedics caring hands-on for patients, providing first aid at various events such as stair climbs and BSA camporee’s, just to name a few. Our post advisors maximize every opportunity to teach us practical skills, useful knowledge, creative thinking, effective problem-solving, and impeccable teamwork.

I am honored to be a part of Post 247. Our post is proud to be able to open doors for you and me to explore what most people never have the opportunity to learn, see, and do.
