The City offers basic, supplemental and dependent life insurance coverage to full-time and part-time employees. The City provides $20,000 in basic term life insurance to full-time employees at no cost.
Long Term Disability

If you have a qualifying disability, your monthly LTD benefit is 60% of your base monthly salary, up to a $5,000 maximum monthly benefit. Base annual salary does not include shift differential, overtime, service incentive pay, lump sum payments, or stipends. The amount you receive from LTD will be reduced by deductible income you receive from other sources.
Military Leave

An employee who is a member of the state military forces or a reserve component of the armed forces will be granted up to 144 hours of paid leave per federal fiscal year for days on which the employee is engaged in authorized training or duty ordered or authorized by proper authority, subject to certain conditions:
Personal Holiday

Retirement

Mandatory 8% of base annual salary. If you leave employment with the City before you reach eligibility, you may request that your contributions and any interest earned be refunded to you or rolled over to an IRA or employer plan.
Short Term Disability

If you have a qualifying disability, your weekly STD benefit is 70% of your base weekly salary, up to a $1,200 weekly benefit. Base annual salary does not include shift differential, overtime, service incentive pay, lump sum payments, or stipends. The amount you receive from STD will be reduced by paid leave or work earnings you receive

Vacation Leave
